SANCTIONS
In December 2014 she tested positive for the banned substance stanozolol and was suspended from competition by the International Weightlifting Federation [IWF] for two years. She became eligible to return on 01 December 2016. In January 2018 the IWF announced that she tested positive for stanozolol for a second time, on this occasion at the 2017 World Championships in Anaheim, CA, United States of America. She was provisionally suspended from competition, and in January 2019 the IWF confirmed she had been banned for eight years.
