RETIREMENT He announced his retirement after winning bronze in the men's 67kg category at the 2021 National Sports Week [PON] in Papua, Indonesia. He said a recurring muscle injury in his right leg prompted him to retire. He then also announced the opening of his own gym 6221 Weightlifting Academy in Bogor. "This injury requires a lot longer recovery time. I'm done. [My academy] is finally realised and open for public, especially for children. Early childhood training is free, no charge at all. I'm obsessed to bring weightlifting to the same level of appreciation as badminton and football."
